FASHION: I love vintage!

Adoro da sempre la moda vintage. Gli abiti, che siano degli anni '50, '60 o '70 sono tutti eleganti, hanno 

delle linee sobrie ma ricercate e la fantasia dei tessuti è sempre stupenda. Inoltre, indossare 

un vestito vintage significa che solo tu hai quel vestito e sta a te saperlo rendere ancora più speciale con il giusto abbinamento. Oggi ho comprato questo abito. Mi piaceva la linea, molto bon-ton, e il colore. Perfetto per questi primi giorni di settembre, ancora caldi come l'estate, ma con quella luce diversa, già quasi autunnale.

I love vintage fashion. The '50s, '60s and '70s dresses are always so elegant, they have a very simple 

line but very well refined, and the pattern of the textile is always amazing! If you wear a vintage dress means that is only you who has that dress, and it's up to you to combine it with the best outfit and accessories.

 Last week I bought this dress. I like its very bon-ton shape and its colour. It's perfect during 

these September's days, still warm like our italian Summer, but with a different, almost autumnal, light.

IN TOWN: Fanciful Fiorucci

Elio Fiorucci è stato uno dei simboli della fantasia e della creatività degli anni '80 e '90 in Italia. Ricordo ancora il suo negozio in centro, una bazar di vestiti e accessori coloratissimi, oggetti per la casa divertenti e un sacco di gadget folli e geniali! Ora quel negozio non c'è più e ne sono poi stati aperti altri, ma proprio vicino a casa mia ci sono gli uffici. E la cosa più bella è passarci vicino di sera, o durante il weekend, quando gli uffici sono chiusi e si possono vedere le saracinesche tutte colorate, con l'amato nanetto da sempre simbolo di Fiorucci!

Elio Fiorucci has been one of the symbols of fancy and creativity of '80s and '90s in Italy. I still remember his big shop downtown, it was a sort of bazar full of nice dresses and accessories, funny house objects and crazy gadgets! Years ago that shop has been closed and new shops have been opened in town, but right closed to my house there is Fiorucci office. And is so nice to go there in the evening or during the weekend, when the office is closed, and you can see its colorfull shutters, with Fiorucci's beloved symbol dwarf!

FASHION: W-wedge!

Devo essere sincera: le zeppe mi hanno sempre lasciata perplessa! Così alte, così larghe, così grosse... Insomma, non mi sono mai sembrate particolarmente eleganti. Poi, quasi per caso, sono capitata davanti 

alle vetrine di un negozio che faceva una svendita di scarpe e sono stata praticamente ipnotizzata da un paio

 di sandali con zeppe da competizione! Alti, anzi, altissimi, con zeppa e plateau nascosti da sottili lacci 

di pelle, tutto in un color avorio così chic... Non ho resistito! Appena le ho provato ho capito cosa intendevano

 le mie amiche quando dicono che una volta provata la zeppa poi non ne puoi più fare a meno, anche 

perché guadagni subito quei 12 centimetri che non guastano mai ;-)

I want to be honest: I never liked wedge-heeled shoes. They are so high, so large and so big... They never look that elegant. Then, by chance, I saw the window of a shop that was making shoes sales and I have been hypnotized by an incredible model of wedge sandals! High, better, very high, with wedge and plateau hidden by small leather laces, in a such very chic ivory colour... Well, I didn't resist! And when I tried them I finally understood when my friends say that when you choose wedge shoes you can't go on without, also because you became 12 cm. higher ;-)
