IBIZA: (Sir) Francis (Drake), are you there?

Sin da quando ero piccola ho sempre amato le storie sui pirati, le loro vite incredibili e quel coraggio sprezzante dei pericoli. E ovviamente mi sono sempre piaciute tantissimo tutte le leggende sui loro capitani, le battaglie navali, oltre agli arrembaggi, le mappe segrete e tutti quegli incredidibli tesori! Quindi immagina che colpo mi è venuto quando guardando il porto dalla parte alta della città di Eivissa (Ibiza centro) ho visto questo galeone! Ok, non è originale, è stato costruito qualche anno fa, ma è una copia perfetta di un galeone del 16 secolo. Lo si può vedere proprio accanto a navi e yacht moderni, ma onestamente, non c'è proprio paragone, o no?!

Since when I was a baby I have always loved the pirates, their life and brave courage. And of course I always loved all the legends about them, seabattles, boardings, secret maps and incredibile treasures! So imagine on when I saw, from the top of Eivissa town, this old galeon in the port! Ok, it’s not original, I mean, it has been built just a few years ago, but it’s the perfect copy of a galeon of the 16 century! You can see it right in the port of Ibiza town, closed to the modern boats and yachts, but honestly, "my" galeon is the best, isn't it?!
