Piccolo ma grande abbastanza, dolce e amaro allo stesso tempo, economico e facile da trovare ovunque. Quando ho bisogno di una pausa, di un dolce abbraccio cioccolatoso mi mangio un Bacio! Puro paradiso!

It's small but big enough, is sweet and better at the same time, is cheap and you can find it everywhere. All the italians know it, everyone has had it as a present at least once. Its name is Bacio, that in italian means kiss, and it has inside a small paper with a short love poem, written in different languages. When I just need a break, a monent for me, a sweet hug of dark chocolate. Pure paradise!

Sin da quando ero una teenager ho sempre amato le riviste di moda e di design. Ricordo che spendevo infatti tutta la mia paghetta per comprarne il più possibile ogni mese. Ho cominciato con Grazia e 100 Cose Energy, poi Glamour e Amica, più tardi con le edizioni italiane di Marie Claire, Elle e Elle Decor. Ora le mie preferite sono Living etc. UK, Elle UK e Vogue Living Australia. Sono sempre un passo avanti, innovative e sperimentali nelle loro proposte. Adoro i loro servizi di moda, la grafica delle rubriche e tutte le nuove tendenze che presentano ogni volta. Sono per me una grande fonte di ispirazione le interviste che fanno agli stilisti e ai designer (e non sono sempre gli stessi nomi da 20 anni come in Italia!), e non mi perdo mai un indirizzo dei migliori negozi di design suggeriti nei loro servizi speciali!

Since when I was a teenager I have always loved fashion and design magazines. I remember that I used to spend my monthly pocket for them. I started with Grazia and 100 Cose Energy, then Glamour and Amica, later the italian editions of Elle, Elle Decor and Marie Claire. Now my favourite are Living etc. UK, Elle UK and Vogue Living Australia. They are always many steps further, innovative and cool. I like so much their fashion reports, their pages graphic and new trends tips. I'm always inspired by their designers interviews (and these are not always the same names like in Italy!) and I always copy in my agenda their best design shopping addresses!

Bene, davvero delle belle notizie! Devo essere sincera, io adoro l'inverno e il freddo, mi sento molto più energica e tonica, ma la mia pelle urla sempre vendetta alla prima folata di vento "frizzatino"! A Milano non nevica tutti gli anni, ma quando succede è sempre qualcosa di magico. Mi piace il silenzio che si crea, nessuno usa la macchina e camminando in centro è bello perdersi in questo silenzio quasi surreale. Cambia anche la luce. Milano, famosa per essere una città grigia e dal ritmo sempre stressante dove tutti corrono di continuo, con la neve diventa una città dalle tinte chiare, nitide, soffici e pulite. Questi sono alcuni scatti che ho fatto da casa mia al parco in Corso Venezia, che io chiamo il Parco di Palestro ma che in realtà si chiama "Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli"... (non chiedermi perché, non lo so neanch'io!)

In Milan it doesn't snow every year, but when it happens is always quite magic. I like the silent because none uses car and walking in the town there is a surreal no-sound-music all around. Then the light changes. Milan, famous for being a gray and stress town where all the people run and run, becomes clean and clear, soft and relaxing. These are some pics I have done from my house to the park in Corso Venezia, that I call Parco of Palestro but its real name is "Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli"... (don't ask me why, I don't know it!)

Vive a Los Angeles, lavora come editor freelance ed è membro del Jane Austen Society of North America (wow!). Il primo libro si intitola "In viaggio con Jane Austen" ed è la storia di una ragazza, nata all'epoca e nella società di Jane Austen, che un giorno si sveglia nel corpo e nella vita di una ragazza del 2009. E così, con i suoi occhi di giovane donna dell'800 cominci a vedere e capire quanto possa essere rude, rozza e a volte troppo veloce la nostra vita oggi, soprattutto se la paragoni allo stile e alla mentalità di quella epoca passata, quando un sorriso, un ballo e la proposta di un ragazzo valevano molto più di 1 milione di sms di oggi! Il secondo libro si intitola "Shopping con Jane Austen" ed è la stessa storia ma opposta: una ragazza di oggi si sveglia nel corpo e nella vita di una ragazza dell'epoca e della società di Jane Austen, ed è veramente divertente vedere come faccia di tutto per sopravvivere alla situazione, cercando di gestirla al meglio. Non perderti poi i capitoli di quando lei va a Bath: quando li stavo leggendo ero in treno e continuavo a ridere da sola, tanto che i miei vicini avranno pensato che fossi pazza!

If you have replied 7 yes on 7 questions (I know, I'm very severe when we talk about Jane Austen :D you MUST read these 2 books, written by Laurie Viera Rigler. She lives in Los Angeles, works as editor freelance and she is member of Jane Austen Society of North America (wow!). The first book, "Rude awakenings of a Jane Austen Addict" is about a girl, born in the Jane Austen century and society, who one day wakes up in the body and in the life of a girl of 2009. So with her '800 eyes you start to see and realize how can be rude, wilde and sometimes too fast our life today, if you compare it with the style and menthality of the past, when a smile, a dance and a proposal of a boy meant much more than one milion of sms today! The second book is "Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict" and is about the opposite situation: a girl of today wakes up in the Jane Austen century and society, and is soooo fun to read about the two ways to live and how the girl survives and manages the situation. Don't miss the pages when she goes to Bath: when I was reading that chapter I was in a train smiling by myself all the time and my neighbours surly thought I was crazy!
